Ingredients (4 servings)
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 3 tbsp butter (or vegan butter)
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 plant-based sausages (2 per person)
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 2 cups vegie gravy
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Place potatoes in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook 12–15 minutes until tender.
- Drain well, then mash with butter, mustard, garlic powder, nutritional yeast (optional), salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add sausages and cook 8–10 minutes, turning until browned.
- Pour gravy into the pan and simmer 2–3 minutes to warm and coat sausages.
- Serve mash on plates, top with sausages and gravy, and garnish with chopped parsley.
